This project showcases the amazing tool, Unreal Engine. I decided to push myself and apply principles of cinematography, lighting, composition and camera work into this short animation piece. I loved working on this project because of how easy it is to get lost in the creative process with a tool like Unreal Engine, which in my opinion , eliminates a lot of the friction between the creative part and technical part of 3D programs.
On this project, I used multiple composition techniques and tricks to make the place seem as a cohesive world. From the camera perspective, the environment comes together as a seamless place. Outside the camera view, you can see this is not the case. This is done to have a scene that is lighter to render, while still giving the illusion that the place is connected.
The entire project was brought together by adjusting color balance, hue, saturation and using a LUT
